Please congratulate the 7th and 8th grade girls cross country teams on a great day at the Lovejoy Fall Festival meet today at Myers Park in McKinney. The HPMS girls competed together in the Middle School girls division and took home 2nd place as a team, losing to Lovejoy by only 2 points. Finley Heckler (8th grade) took first place overall and broke the course record on the 1.6 mile course, previously held by her older sister. Next week the girls travel to Burleson to take on the infamous "Green Monster" course. Team, individual and meet results below...
