Please congratulate the HPMS boys cross country team on an excellent Saturday! This was a combined meet for both 7th and 8th graders and the boys took home second place out of a 12 team field with 168 runners. There was some stiff competition and the boys have a lot to be proud of in the way they represented HP. Team Results: Home School Athletic Association- 35 points HPMS- 47 Lovejoy- 96 Celina- 96 Brown- 167 Founders Classical Academy- 182 Crandall- 186 Dallas Coram Deo Academy- 228 Trinity Christian Addison- 247 Plano Coram Deo Academy- 261 Melissa- 315 Anna- 330 Beau Stewart led the squad once again this week taking home a 2nd place while Rudy Smith took 3rd in a photo finish (see attached video). Cole Davis snagged 7th while Aidan Zahodnik rounded out the medalists finishing in 15th to put our top five scorers all in the top 20 once again. Carson Royall finished in 22nd overall putting him in the top 10 finishes from seventh graders while Antonio Sanchez and Adam Schaffer legged out 26th and 27th for our team. Tej Patel had a solid day coming in 29th while Max Walters continued to improve and came in 31st followed by Isaac Diaz in 36th, Henry Lockridge (7th grade) in 37th and Joaquin Mayo in 43rd (7th grade). Adam Schaffer (8th grade) keeps gaining ground every week and truly shows the depth of our eighth grade group.
