Raiders Cross Country Team Wins Jesuit XC Classic

RAIDERS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM WINS JESUIT XC CLASSIC

Please congratulate the boys cross country team on bringing home 1st place in the Jesuit Classic! They truly earned this one as they finished another strong week of training where they continued to push one another. Out of the 246 runners in the field, our team medalists include Beau Stewart in fourth place, Cole Davis taking and eighth place and Rudy Smith coming in 14th. Samarjeet Singh had a strong showing coming in 22nd while Collin Krantz took 27th while Antonio Sanchez and Sean Matthews took 28th and 29th. Tej Patel led the 7th grade squad with a personal best time of 13:47 coming in 53rd. There were 21 teams that competed. This field included HSAA who bested HPMS a few weeks back at the Lovejoy Invitational but the Raiders found themselves earning some revenge Saturday. The top 10 teams include: 1) HPMS- 75 points 2) Liberty Christian- 87 3) Legacy Christian Academy Frisco- 123 4) HSAA- 125 5) Bobby Summers- 149 6) Arlington Classics Academy- 163 7) Dallas Covenant- 232 8) St. Mark’s of Texas- 243 9) Willow Park Trinity Christian- 260 10) Dallas Shelton- 287 Our runners of the week include: Cole Davis (8th Grade) has been nails for us all fall. Cole’s will is relentless and he truly sets an example of an athlete who demonstrates what it looks like to be one of the best at his craft while having an unmatched work ethic. Hunter Hubbs (7th Grade) has shown tremendous growth this year and has improved his time significantly through his efforts in training.
