Please congratulate the 7th and 8th grade boys on a strong showing at their District Championship on Monday, October 16th. The 7th grade boys showed much improvement taking 5th while the 8th grade finished as district runner-up. The 7th Grade squad was led by Henry Lockridge who finished in 28th. For 8th Grade, Beau Stewart had an incredible finish as he lost hold of his spot in second place in the final 200 meters but regained control ultimately before the finish line to take home 2nd and a silver medal! Cole Davis and Rudy Smith finished strong for our team like they have all fall taking both 7th and 8th place. Below are results from both divisions with individual times. I am super proud of how hard this group worked this fall and came together. They showed great resilience as they battled some injuries and supported one another.
